Indian Motorcycle UK, alongside Rideworx (Indian Motorcycle Reading), is pleased to announce acclaimed motorcycle racer Jeremy McWilliams as Guest of Honour at this year’s Official Indian Motorcycle Riders (IMR) UK National Rally, taking place at the historic Brooklands Museum from 28–30 August.
A highly respected figure in international motorcycle racing and recent recipient of the MCN Lifetime Achievement Award, McWilliams brings a wealth of experience and a lifelong passion for motorcycles to what promises to be one of the highlights of the Indian Motorcycle Riders UK calendar.
McWilliams has enjoyed a distinguished career at the highest levels of motorcycle racing, competing in a wide variety of championships including 250cc and 500cc World Championships, MotoGP, and the North West 200, earning a reputation for his exceptional riding ability, technical knowledge and fearless approach to racing, all while coaching and developing the next generation of racers.
In 2022, McWilliams joined the modern-day Indian Wrecking Crew to race the Indian Challenger in the King of the Baggers championship and the Indian FTR in the Super Hooligans series.
Instrumental in giving the Challenger its competitive edge by leveraging decades of race experience and testing, McWilliams was a championship contender throughout his multi-season run in the King of the Baggers, securing multiple podiums and a historic win during the 2022 Daytona 200 weekend.
As Guest of Honour, Jeremy will meet riders and members throughout the event, share stories from his remarkable career and take part in the celebrations surrounding the Indian Motorcycle community in the UK.
“We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Jeremy McWilliams as our Guest of Honour,” said Gina Evans, Marketing Manager for Indian Motorcycle UK. “Jeremy is a fantastic ambassador for motorcycling and someone whose career and passion for two wheels resonate strongly with our riders. Having him join us for the IMR UK Rally will make this year’s event even more special.”
Hosted at Brooklands by official Indian Motorcycle dealer and MCN’s multi-franchise dealer of the year, Rideworx, the Official IMR UK National Rally welcomes all riders of all brands for a celebration of the marque, its motorcycles and the community that surrounds them.
On Friday, guests can enjoy authentic American BBQ, racing simulators, late access to the Brooklands Motor Sheds, guided Concorde tours, and dedicated IMR VIP parking. A live saxophonist performs from 5 PM to kick off the weekend.
Saturday features bacon and coffee on arrival, BBQ, and free ice cream. Highlights include trade stalls, wheelie machines, stunt show, custom bike show, a King of the Baggers display, and live bands until 11 PM.
Attendees can also run their bikes on the Brooklands Track and take photos under Concorde.
Also available on Saturday are test rides of the latest Indian Motorcycle models, including MCN’s Cruiser of the Year, the Indian Chief Vintage. Test rides can be booked at: Book a Test Ride
